A sketch of something i want to do for my final project. I am going to make this scene in 3D and do all of the textures.

ugh if it werent really late where I live I would totally critique this for you, and write something really long and hopefully helpul... but I think its mostly good. The only thing is the contour of the robot doesnt really stand out, and maybe if you changed the texture of the dirt or the bot that would fix this?

Ah, Thanks for the comment and partial critique. I think what your talking about is mostly more contrast. Especially for metallic objects like the little robot. If I would have added a stronger highlight, it would have popped out more. Another way would be to add a strong back light which is an easy fix if your in a pinch. This is just a sketch though for something else. It is mostly being used for basic material, lighting, and layout. I am making it in 3D.
