Samus VS Ridley Etching by Startaft33 Samus VS Ridley Etching by Startaft33
This is the final proof of my Samus Vs Ridley etching. I spent a good portion of today dipping this thing into acid and washing it off over and over again. But it looks rather nice right now.

I'm not meticulous enough to be a printer or photographer, so good job.

Very nice! I love how Samus is shooting it in the mouth.. and it's just great for pen. I never was good at pen. ^^;

it actually isnt pen =D its an etching... basically a plate of metal with an engraving of the image... then i put ink on it and press some paper on it.... so its rather interesting

oh sweet! O_o I've never saw that done before. That would be interesting to do. It kinda sounds like print making though

okay! ..haha. See I knew there was a reason I was thinking of that. I guess the plate of metal thing threw me off a bit. >_< Oh well. Im horrible at print making. This is great stuff though! ^^

That's really nice. I've done etchings, I know how much they can suck. That's an awesome scene, the only critique I have is that there may not be enough contrast, although my screen tends to be a little dark. Still, very nice job.

Thanks =D this is actually my 1st etching... and the acid was rather potent today... so it ate a little more then usual... and I was getting use to blotting out the areas I wanted to keep light.
